Description

In the sixth semester project build part,  students will implement the project planned in semester 5. The interface circuit will be built on bread board and subsequently onto a PCB. Code is written and completed for the microcontroller in assembly or C. This is debugged, simulated using the  development board provided. All work is documented on a weekly basis and a final project report is submitted. Student will communicate, document and present effectively the iterative design experience  and conduct him/her self with confidence during interviews and presentations

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;

1.

 Write, compile, debug, simulate and emulate project code using the Embedded Systems Development Tools Provided.

2.

Assemble components on breadboard/PCB and carry out electrical tests as per test plan

3.

Communicate, document and present effectively the iterative design experience

4.

Participate in project related interviews and project demonstration

5.

Produce a comprehensive project report based on a given standard template

Indicative Syllabus

Code simulation on an approved simulator

Programming in C or Assembly language

Testing of code (as much as possible) on simulator
