QUSU08017 2013 Construction Financial Management
Construction financial management module assesses how project financing plays a role in modern construction management and the financial management tools required by decision makers. It also aims at developing awareness and understanding of the need for financial planning and monitoring, and the cost control process.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Assess how project financing plays a role in modern construction management, cashflow and project cost control.
Demonstrate a critical awareness of the principles of and practice of financial accounting.
Formulate advice on how corporate policies and procedures can effect the management of the project.
Develop an ability to analyse financial data in organisations and communicate this data to various parties.
Evaluate financial corporate performance and budgetary control processes used in the construction / property sector.
