Description

This module aims to provide students with the necessary skills to successfully deploy Voice over Internet Protocol technologies. 

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;

Examine digital voice concepts in a telecommunications network.

2.

Install Internet Protocol phones in a LAN environment

3.

Explore the function of the infrastructure in a Unified Communications environment

4.

Configure unified voice productivity features

Continuous assessment will take place in a laboratory environment employing simulation techniques as well as hands on testing using approved industry standard equipment
