PERF06053 2013 Digital Media for Performing Arts 3 (Design)
This module further prepares students with core skills in digital creation with a focus on video. The students will develop a body of work in both photography and video. The module will encourage the student to integrate video into their studio practice, focussing documentation and presentation.
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Be able to do all necessary preparations in breaking down a scene and doing a video shoot.
Be able to edit and finish a video in various formats.
Be able to promote and share their content online appropriately.
Be able to document their studio work using photography and video.
Be able to participate in a group video project as well as direct their own individual video project
An introduction to Video Production
- breaking down a script
- analysis of a scene
- looking at locations - documentation
- shot lists for a scene, full breakdown of props, costume, locations
shooting a short movie.
Introduction to editing, the final draft of the project as well as finishing options, onscreen and online.
