On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;

Summarise the nature and scope of some of the world's major food problems

2.

 Understand the global movement towards sustainable food, sustainable diets and reduced food waste

3.

Understand the interplay between nutrition and climate change

4.

Understand current WHO global nutrition targets and sustainable development goals

5.

Discuss nutrition programmes and food policies at a local, national and global level

Global nutrition targets, malnutrition, the global food system, global burden of disease, food insecurity, nutrition and climate change, sustainable diets, implementation of interventions and services in low and middle income settings,  the developing world, world food programmes.
