### Indicative Syllabus

**1. Basic Mathematics: **Basic arithmetic operations, fractions and decimals, percentages and ratios, indices. Use of calculator. Operator precedence rules. Manipulate algebraic expresions. Linear and quadratic equations. Graphs.

**2. Data Presentation and Summarisation:** Various charts. Mean, median and mode. Range, interquartile range, standard deviation. Co-efficient of variation.

**3. Discrete Mathematics: **Sets, relations and functions. Propositional and predicate calculus.
