LANG06062 2016 French Post Leaving Cert Level 2 Semester 2
This module aims to continue on from Semester 1 to furhter develop the necessary skills to speak, write, understand and communicate effectively in everyday and business situations relevant to the course. The subject also provides the students with a more extensive knowledge of the culture and civilisation of the target language.
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
The student will perform confidently at Level B1 within the Common European Framework for Language Learning (Council of Europe Guidelines)
understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters
can more confidently produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken
can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans

Can write personal letters/emails describing experiences and impressions
