Description

This module is intended to develop design communication and management skills witihn a CAD environment and personal communication skills.  

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;

1.

Create, manage and share computer based and cloud based electronic files (artefacts)

2.

Manage and share content of CAD drawings efficiently

3.

Communicate through visual, verbal and written presentations, utilising appropriate language, terminology and representational graphics

4.

Assess the use of and potential for parametric modelling & Building Information Modelling within the construction industry

5.

Demonstrate personal management skills 

Module Assessment Strategies

The short weekly assignments will receive Formative Assessment Feedback in written/audio or video format. Summative assessment will also be given.

The project will receive Formative Assessment Feedback in written format. Peer review may also be introduced to this module. Summative assessment will be given upon completion of project.
