This module aims to provide students with a general knowledge and understanding of a number of analytical test methods employed in the Quality Control analysis of Biopharmaceutical products.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Discuss the key features of a protein product and its quality attributes.
Outline the principal test methods employed in the analysis of biopharmaceutical products.
Outline some of the main differences between the analysis of a pharmaceutical and a biologic product.
Describe the typical analytical equipment employed for performance of the analytical test methods.
Explain the underlying operational principles behind the main analytical test instrumentation.
