ADMN07010 2016 Business Semester Abroad
This module is aimed at students availing of the Eramus exchange program to study abroad. It aims to expose students to a new culture, to enhance their technical and business skills in a new environment and to afford them the opportunity to learn a new language.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Experience new cultures and interact comfortably with native speakers/residents
Develop existing business skills and technical knowledge in a different learning environment
Examine the business environment in a host economy and identify similarities/differences with Irish business sector

All assessment will be conducted in the host college
Repeat Assessments
Repeat examinations will be conducted in the host institution.
Indicative Syllabus
- Students must take achieve at least 20 credits in core Business modules (at appropriate NFQ level)
- 10 credits may be earned from a module(s) in an unrelated subject area
Individual subject choices to be approved by IT Sligo, Head of Department at start of semester
